See Below for detailed description of services. ALL FEES will Be rounded up to the nearest full hour. Prices do not include software or hardware.
1. Pickup / Delivery: A Castroville Computers representative will travel within a 25 mile radius of our shop to pickup or deliver systems, components, and software. Price does not include breakdown, setup, installation, or diagnostics.
2. Beyond 25 miles: A fee will be calculated based on the door to door and back travel time from Castroville Computers using http://www.mapquest.com
3. Onsite Service: This labor rate will be based on the amount of time that a technician representing Castroville Computers spends at the work site. Time will start as soon as the technician arrives and will stop when the technician leaves. We can not guarantee repair of a problem, this fee does not mean that all repairs are complete or successful. A minimum of 1 hour will be charged in all cases, this includes arriving at the repair site and not being able to work on a problem which is not the fault of Castroville Computers. (ex: No One Home)
4. In Shop Service: This labor rate will apply to all repairs done on customer computer equipment at the Castroville Computers repair shop. Please provide all login names and passwords needed.
5. Hardware Install/Setup: Fee is per item (ex: MODEM, Sound card, Printer, or Video Card are separate items). Item will be installed, software will be loaded, and item will be tested. Pickup/Delivery charges may apply for Onsite installations. Price does not apply to RAM, fees to install RAM is $25.00 per visit.
6. Software Install/Setup: Program installation, removal, and/or configuration work will be performed at this rate. This fee may include internet downloads/updates if required.
7. Diagnose and/or estimate: Flat fee to be assessed to all troubleshooting tickets to provide the customer with an analysis of what the problem(s) is(are). Fee will also apply to all customer custom PC systems. This fee may be waived, please ask your technician for details.
8. PC Tune-up: Blow out dust from Power supply and case, run surface scan, defragment hard drive, and download critical updates/device updates.
9. Windows Update: Rate to download and install windows updates from http://www.microsoft.com this fee may be waived in cases where troubleshooting/repairs require this.
10. Format hard drive: Fee charged to Format hard drive for OS install.
11. Fresh install of Windows OS: Fee charged to load the Windows OS (Home or Pro)
12. Upgrade Windows: Upgrade Windows to newer version, price does not include Software.
